The Law on Tourism, which was passed on June 14, 2005 by the XIth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 7th session, takes effect as of January 1, 2006.

This Law provides for tourism resources and activities; rights and obligations of other tourists, organizations and individuals engaged in tourism-related activities
