Thong Nhat Park is located next to Hanoi Circus, about 15 minutes by bike to the Old Quarter. Brought into use since 1960, the park used to be a prime location for entertainment for those who live downtown. These days, however, the park is a gathering place for the local who comes for group exercise or simply a jog around the green areas. Closer to the Tet holiday or Full Moon Festival, there are fairs displaying food and clothing products from all provinces in Vietnam. Thong Nhat park is a good stop if you want a break from the traffic noise.
