In recent years, a series of contemporary tourism gardens have presented on each land and water route in the Mekong Delta city of Cantho. The gardens of My Khanh, San Duong, Ba Lang and Tan Binh spread along the arched highway, as well as on the waterways of Hong Dien and Phung Hiep rivers. Many gardens in Long My, Vi Thanh, O Mon and Thot Not are still developing.
The My Khanh Gardens occupy 2.2 ha and have over 20 species of fruit trees and flowers, furthermore as various species of birds, fish, tortoises, snakes, crabs and shrimp. Below the shade of lush green trees, there are tiny rong houses to supply guests with an area to rest for the night. Ba Lang is situated 9km from Can Tho (on Highway No. one towards Soc Trang), and has a location of 4.2 ha. There's the animal sanctuary of Ao Sen Lake, 2 lakes for swimming, an outside stage and mini-hotels. Gardens here mingle agricultural potential with tourism.
