The most ancient capital, Singhapura (Lion Citadel) at Tra Kieu, 40 km southwest of Danang city was constructed throughout the course of the fourth century.

The ancient location of Singhapura with its dozens of monuments, many statues and bas-reliefs, attests to the plentiful culture of the kingdom that once flourished here.

The sacred Buddhist-inspired site of Indrapura, at present, as Dong Duong lies sixty km from Da nang. The Site's scattered monuments are engraved with texts a couple of line of 9 kings and their deeds. Several artifacts have been discovered at this location.
